Privacy Notice
To ensure safe, legal and responsible drone operations, JAP Drone Services may be unable to complete a survey under the following conditions:
-
Unsafe Weather Conditions — Surveys cannot be carried out during high winds, heavy rain, fog, snow, or any weather that may compromise flight safety or image quality.
-
Restricted or Prohibited Airspace — Flights cannot take place within areas restricted by the UK Civil Aviation Authority, including certain military zones, airports, prisons, or temporary flight restriction zones, unless appropriate permissions are granted.
-
Obstructions or Hazardous Environments — Surveys may be declined if the site contains obstacles or hazards such as overhead power lines, dense tree cover, unstable structures, or environments that pose a risk to the pilot or equipment.
-
Privacy or Data Protection Concerns — We cannot conduct surveys that would breach privacy laws, infringe on third‑party rights, or capture imagery of individuals or properties without appropriate permissions.
-
Lack of Landowner Permission — Surveys cannot proceed without confirmed access rights or written permission from the landowner or responsible authority.
-
Operations Beyond A2 CofC Permissions — As our pilot operates under an A2 Certificate of Competency, we cannot perform flights that require additional authorisations, such as operations too close to uninvolved people or within categories requiring a GVC/Operational Authorisation.
-
Unsafe Take‑off and Landing Areas — If a suitable, safe launch and recovery area is not available, the survey may not be possible.
-
Equipment or Technical Limitations — Certain surveys may be restricted by drone capability, required sensor types, altitude limitations, or battery endurance.
